Erin has been a trooper this trip. Just today she put on 8 1/2 miles following us around some pretty hellacious terrain; after much review, it was determined that there may have been almost three miles of whine-free hiking included (the duct tape and ball gag probably helped). Shady spots were at a premium here in the high desert, though, and comfy places to sit were very welcome to all three of us.
